Below is a list of cupcake flavor combinations we offer but first some info on our custom cakes, because we offer so many cupcake flavors combinations that can be used in our custom cakes and some are not available as cake flavors so check with us when you order.

Cupcake sizes range from the Mini, Regular or Standard sized to Giant! If you can’t find a price listed for the cupcake you want please Minis are a 2 dozen minimum order and range from $8 – $12 a dozen. Regular sized Cupcakes are a 1 dozen minimum order if I am already filling orders that week and you want a flavor I am currently making I will accept half dozen orders. Pricing starts at $13 for a half dozen, $22 for a dozen cupcakes in our Classics collection to $38 for cupcakes in our Top Shelf and Tipsy Cake collection. Below is a list of cupcakes we make throughout the year. If you want to do some match making and design a cupcake of your own lets chat! Availability of a flavor depends on the time of year and availability of fresh ingredients. Banana Nut Sundae: Our delicious fluffy banana cake filled with strawberry sundae topping, topped with whipped vanilla ice cream flavored buttercream frosting, drizzled with Hershey chocolate syrup, edges rolled in sundae nuts and topped with a Maraschino cherry!
Trouble Maker: This cupcake is based on our signature cookie called the Trouble Maker. We start with our vanilla cake, fill it with salted caramel, topped the cake with white chocolate buttercream frosting, roll the edges in crushed pretzels then drizzle chocolate and caramel over the top and sprinkle with mini chocolate chips.
S’mores: We use a chocolate cupcake cover it with a swirl of chocolate and toasted marshmallow buttercream frosting then top the cupcake wit a chunk of graham cracker and Hershey chocolate.
Sprinkle mini marshmallows over it and drizzle chocolate on top of all of that!!
Bananas Foster: We start with our fluffy banana cupcake, top it with our cheesecake flavored buttercream frosting and drizzle the top with caramel.
Cinnamon Roll: This cupcake is made with a swirl of our secret cinnamon roll spices in a vanilla butter cake and then dipped in our buttery cinnamon roll glaze and topped with a swirl of cinnamon cheesecake flavored buttercream frosting.
Chocolate or White Chocolate Raspberry: Pick chocolate or vanilla cake and raspberry or strawberry filling for this cupcake. We fill it with your berry of choice and cover it with a choice of chocolate or white chocolate and berry of choice half and half buttercream swirled frosting then place a fresh berry on top.
Dad’s Caramel Popcorn: This cupcake is a vanilla butter cake topped with a swirl of caramel buttercream frosting and topped with homemade caramel popcorn! This is a special cupcake. The caramel popcorn recipe has been a family favorite since I was a little girl. We would make an enormous batch for movies and Sunday afternoon snacks.
Cookie & Cupcake: You pick vanilla or chocolate cake and we cover it with Vanilla bean buttercream frosting topped with a fresh baked Chocolate Chip or Peanut Butter cookie.
Cookies & Cream: A delicious cookies and cream vanilla cake topped with a scoop of cookies and cream buttercream frosting.
Pancake Breakfast: A buttery vanilla cupcake covered with a swirl of maple buttercream frosting and toped with a stack of maple syrup drizzled mini pancakes.
Cotton Candy: A berry vanilla swirl cupcake is covered with blue raspberry flavored buttercream frosting and then topped with a puff of cotton candy.
Fruit and Cream:
A delicious dreamy cupcake! This cupcake is a vanilla or chocolate cake topped with a creamy fruit and buttercream swirl! Fillings are optional and sprinkles just might be mandatory!

This line was created as our featured cupcakes at Taste of Plumas in 2013 and has grown as customers have made requests. We use alcoholic drinks as inspiration. Our customers love the flavor twist. We are up to the challenge of creating a cupcake based on your favorite alcoholic beverage.

Rose Wine and Chocolate: Chocolate cake with Rose wine baked in and buttercream frosting with a Rose Wine sweetened reduction mixed in for a truly unique cupcake.
Fruity Zin: A Vanilla cake flavored with a hint of red raspberry and topped with our fruity
Zinfandel buttercream and Zinfandel drizzle.
Spicy Zin: Spicy chocolate cake and topped with our spicy Zinfandel buttercream and Zinfandel drizzle.
Beer and Pretzels: A little Stout in a chocolate cupcake with chocolate buttercream frosting and pretzels.
Irish Car Bomb: Guinness chocolate cake, Jameson chocolate ganache filling and Irish cream buttercream frosting with more Jameson ganache drizzle.
Kahlua Chocolate: This one is super popular. It starts with a Kahlua chocolate cake topped with our Kahlua chocolate buttercream frosting. or try an Irish cream butter cream frosting in the Kahlua cake!
Drunken Banana: Banana and coconut rum cupcake with Caribbean Rum and pineapple buttercream frosting sprinkled with crushed Macademea nuts or sweetened shredded coconut and this could very well be the one you’ve been looking for!
Salted Lime Margarita: We start with a margarita lime cake and cover it with margarita lime buttercream frosting and top it with a small salted lime wedge. To eat this cupcake you squeeze the lime over the top and eat! Our 2018 Taste of Plumas variation was a Strawberry Mango Margarita cupcake. Another delicious possibility.
Raspberry Lemon Drop: This is a lemon cupcake topped with a swirl of raspberry vodka buttercream frosting and candied lemon peel.
Eggnog and Spiced Rum: Available November – December. A spiced rum cake with a swirl of eggnog buttercream frosting on top.
Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie: Available November and December only. This delicious cupcake begins with a chocolate Bourbon cake, filled with Bourbon pecan pie filling, covered with a swirl of butter pecan buttercream frosting, and topped with chopped candied pecans.

This list can change and has room for variation based on your preferences. For every season we have a cupcake. We have a cupcake for every holiday or event of the year. Some of these are only made during the holiday season so get them when they are out because when the season ends the recipe goes back in the vault till next year.
Pumpkin Spice: Available October 1 to December 31. A pumpkin spice cupcake covered with cheesecake or maple flavored buttercream frosting and dusted with cinnamon spice.
Maple Cream: Available October 1 to December 31. Our maple flavored cupcake with maple cream buttercream frosting and topped with a maple syrup drizzle.
Churro: Our vanilla butter cake is baked with a cinnamon spice crust on top and then topped with honey vanilla flavored buttercream frosting.
Chocolate Peppermint: Available in December only. Chocolate cupcake covered with chocolate buttercream frosting and rolled in crushed peppermint candy.
Caramel Apple: Available August 1 to October 31. Our delicious apple cake made with fresh apple covered in a swirl of caramel buttercream frosting and drizzled with salted caramel.
Vernetta’s Carrot Cake: Available March, April, and November or by special order. This cupcake is made from a special carrot cake recipe in my collection and covered in a cheesecake flavored buttercream frosting. Vernetta Allen’s cooking was famous in the area I grew up in. She taught cooking and homemaking classes to the girls in our town for many years. I think you will love this cake as much as I do.
Vanilla Chai Latte: A delicious vanilla chai tea spiced cake with a swirl of chai flavored buttercream frosting and topped with a dusting of cinnamon spice.
Sweet Potato Maple Nut: Available November – December. We start with a sweet potato cake and cover it with a swirl of creamy maple or toasted marshmallow buttercream frosting and roll the edges in chopped candied pecans.
Holiday Gingerbread: A gingerbread cupcake topped with a swirl of gingerbread or cheesecake flavored buttercream frosting.
Peppermint Mocha: Chocolate mocha cupcake covered with a swirl of peppermint mocha buttercream frosting and topped with a peppermint candy.
Apple Pie: This delicious cupcake starts with a spice cake that is filled with apple pie filling, covered in a swirl of fluffy vanilla ice cream flavored buttercream frosting and topped with a hugs and kisses pie crust cookie. For a summery twist change the filling to raspberry, strawberry, cherry, peach, or blackberry.
