Congratulations on your big day! Angela’s Bakery would love to help with your Wedding Cake, Cupcakes, Pie dessert table and pastry needs! If it is a traditional wedding cake you need or a nontraditional Naked cake with fresh berries, flowers, and possibly a drippy syrup like caramel or chocolate! you are at the right place! Bundt cakes are fun! How about a layered Cinnamon Roll Cake? YUM!! A fun rustic trend is the Pie table. The bride and groom have a pie to cut instead of cake. With so many flavor variations this is a delicious way to celebrate! Another trend is cake in a jar. Not baked in a jar. I’m talking layered with cake like my hard apple cider spice cake with a whiskey caramel sauce and a butter pecan buttercream frosting then topped off with a shard of pecan candy brittle. A thank you sticker on the outside is a nice touch!

Wedding cake design planning should include some pictures of the cake, cupcakes, or dessert table you have in mind. I find Google and to be fantastic resources for this. Magazine clippings or sketches of your own work also. Have some swatches, ribbons, or pictures of your colors, dress and decorations if they are being incorporated into the design. This cake was designed for a couple who had picked red white and blue for there wedding colors. He is a United States Marine so a flag draped down his side and flowers covering her side was the idea behind this design. Your cake should tell your story as a couple!
This cake was for a wedding at Greenhorn Creek Guest Ranch.
The setting is a beautiful outdoor mountain setting so the bride went with a rustic Birch stump effect on the cake. The Cake was a Chocolate cake with a raspberry filling. The pine cone bride and groom were made by my friend Lisa.

We can plan an appointment to discuss your cake design after you have had a chance to taste what I make. I love meeting my brides in person but I also know how hard it is to get everyone together for a tasting so I have a simplified solution. If you have never tried what we make or would like to taste what could be made then my suggestion is to simply order a dozen cupcakes for $50. You get 2 cake flavors, 2 filling flavors. The combinations available are many! If you do not see yours listed we would love to create something delicious so lets talk about what you have in mind. That is the beauty of a custom bakery. We have the ability to adjust our recipes to accommodate specific requests. After you have had a chance to try the flavors and discuss things with whomever is your budget maker then lets talk and solidify your final design and flavors.
Delivery, Set up, Contact us!
We offer free delivery and set up in the Quincy area. We will deliver and set up outside of Quincy for a small fee discussed in advance. I will also stay to cut and serve your cake if you would like for a small fee to cover my time. If you order pies from me for a wedding or large event your cutting and serving cost is included.
